PLAQUE PSORIASISRESEARCH STUDY
Many people in our area deal with the unique challenges of plaque psoriasis, including potentially embarrassing flaky skin and lesions. While there is no cure for plaque psoriasis, researchers are focused more than ever on trying to find ways to address those challenges, including right here in West Palm Beach.
A research study is now underway at Integrated Dermatology of West Palm Beach to evaluate an investigational oral treatment that may treat the symptoms of psoriasis. You may qualify if plaque psoriasis affects at least 10% of your body. To estimate how much of your body has plaque psoriasis, 1% of the body is approximately the size of the palm of your hand. So, if you think there are about 10 “palm prints” of plaque psoriasis, you may qualify.
We are looking for volunteers who:
- Are between 18 and 70 years old
- Have a history of plaque psoriasis for at least 6 months and have not had any significant flares in the past 3 months
Participants may receive:
- Study-related medical care at no cost
- Investigational medication at no cost
- Reimbursement for time and travel
