RESEARCH STUDY
for NASH-Related Cirrhosis

Non-Alcoholic SteatoHepatitis (NASH) is the most severe form of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and can lead to cirrhosis.

The symptoms of NASH are often silent or non-specific to NASH making it difficult to diagnose until it leads to cirrhosis. People with diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol, insulin resistance, and/or high blood pressure are more likely to have NASH. NASH is different than other fatty liver diseases that are caused by alcohol abuse or medication side effects.

Cadena Care institute in Poway is enrolling participants in a research study testing a potential medication for cirrhosis that was caused by NASH.

We Are Looking for Participants Who:

  • Are between the ages of 18 and 80
  • Have cirrhosis due to NASH

Participants May Receive:

  • Study-related medical care at no cost
  • Investigational medication from a local physician at no cost
  • Compensation for time and travel may be provided

Find out if you qualify to participate.
