ULCERATIVE COLITIS
RESEARCH STUDY

Ulcerative colitis is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that causes inflammation and sores in your digestive tract. UC affects the innermost lining of your large intestine (colon) and rectum. Many who are diagnosed with UC try to manage their symptoms with medications, but unfortunately find they do not work well enough.

Many adults with UC are experiencing the same daily pain and discomfort as you, and specialists are working hard to change that. GCP Clinical Research is conducting a research study right here in Tampa evaluating an investigational medication aiming to treat the symptoms of UC – and participants are needed.

Participants receive:

  • Study-related medical care at no cost
  • Study-related medications at no cost
  • Compensation up to $5,400 for time and travel
